Easy to enter info, but not the easiest to figure out other stuff

Very easy and fast to enter spending info while at the store register! But I am still trying to figure out the reporting and budgeting features. For example, I need to track my moving expenses against a budget, but so far I have not found a way to budget specific categories. It seem like you cannot, but that seems like such a basic thing, that I must be missing something.
I use this on my iphone and MAC and will try to integrate this on my husband’s iphone and ipad. I like how the more often you use a category, that it moves up the list from where you choose. I also like the screen and font they use for entering expense, it is like a blackboard, and easy to read. This screen makes it pleasurable to enter my transactions, rather than a business like screen (that would be no fun, ugh, like journaling your food intake…boring). Regular font for everything else, as it should be.
